Introducing our New WCB Faculty

The Williams College of Business at Xavier University is pleased to announce

the following faculty appointments for fall 2008.


 
 

Thilini Ariyachandra

Assistant professor of management information systems, received her B.S. in finance and banking from the University of South Alabama and her Ph.D. in business administration management of information systems from the University of Georgia. Areas of expertise include business intelligence and data warehousing.


Scott Boyar

Assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship he received his B.S. in management from Keene State College , his MBA from the University of San Diego and his Ph.D. in business administration from Mississippi State University. Areas of expertise include work-family balance, employee selection and retention, and scale development.
 
 

 
 

Hasan Faruq

Assistant professor of economics received his B.A. in economics from Bard College and his Ph.D. in economics from Indiana University. Areas of expertise include international trade, international political economy and economic development.

Rebecca Luce

Assistant professor of management and entrepreneurship, received her B.A. in psychology and M.A. in experimental psychology from Kent State University, her J.D. from the University of Akron Law School and her Ph.D. in strategic management from Michigan State University . Areas of expertise include governance , high-growth firms and social responsibility.

 
 


 
 

Timothy Kruse

Assistant professor of finance, received his B.S. in materials sciences engineering and Ph.D. from Purdue University and his MBA in finance from the University of Missouri. Areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, corporate control and international finance.
