Commuter Life

Many Cincinnatians realize there's a great education available in their own backyard. In fact, while Xavier attracts students nationwide, almost 10 percent of our freshmen come from the surrounding neighborhoods and communities. These students know that they can take full advantage of everything Xavier has to offer while still enjoying the conveniences of living at home. We have activities specifically for commuters that include evenings in Cincinnati, on-campus movie nights, and service activites, plus complimentary breakfast during finals. Between classes you'll find students relaxing in the Gallagher Student Center which has quiet study space, a computer lounge, tvs, game tables and food outlets.
