ALL graduate students are invited to attend the meeting and for those interested in holding a leadership position in GSA, grant money is available. Xavier University offers a 21-month weekend program leading to a Master of Education degree in human resource development (HRD). Human resource development is the integrated use of training, organization and career development efforts to improve individual, group and organizational effectiveness. Program directors, faculty and alumni will be available to share experiences and answer questions. Now accepting applications for the August 2009 school year.
This information session is a great way to find out more information about earning a Masters of Education (M.Ed.) or Master of Arts (M.A.) Counseling at Xavier University. The following programs will have program directors present during the session to both answer questions and to provide additional information: Administration, Elementary Education, Human Resource Development, Montessori Education, Multicultural Literature for Children, Reading, Secondary Education, Special Education, Sport Administration, School Counseling, and Community Counseling. Information on licensure will also be available.

Immediately following the meeting, there will be a social at Ryan's Pub in Gallagher Student Center where FREE appetizers will be served. This social is an opportunity to meet and mingle with other graduate students as well as to grab some good food. ALL graduate students are welcome to both the GSA meeting & the social that follows.
