Make a Payment

The fastest and most secure way to make a payment remains doing so through the ePayment site, which can be accessed through the Student Hub or by Authorized Users by visiting, the ePayment site 

Promise to Pay

Each academic semester students are required to acknowledge and accept their responsibility to pay for all enrolled classes and adjustment of charges that post to their bill.

Refunds

The refund process for Summer 2023 will begin Wednesday, May 24th, with refunds expected to be initiated by Friday, May 26th.

Health Insurance Premium and Waiver

If you waive Health Insurance in the Fall 2023 semester you do not need to waive the coverage again for Spring 24 semester.

All full-time, traditional, undergraduate students and all international students are required to have health insurance coverage. The first semester students are registered for, typically the fall semester, are automatically charged for coverage provided by Xavier University through Anthem. The charge will appear on the first statement of the semester as, 'Health Insurance Premium'. 

If a student has coverage with another plan, they can waive Xavier’s coverage on the health insurance waiver website. Waiver submission dates will be posted soon. Waivers submitted after the deadline date are not accepted.

If a waiver is approved, the 'Health Insurance Premium' will be credited back on the student's account. A credit on a student's statement will be a number in parenthesis, for example ($3,326.00).

For students who wish to keep the coverage, no action is required. 

Tuition Insurance Premium and Waiver

Xavier offers all students tuition insurance provided by AWG Dewar. The premium is automatically charged when students register at a rate of $205 per semester for undergraduates and $53 per semester for graduates. The Tuition Refund Program (TRP) insurance will cover up to 85% of tuition and mandatory fees for any student who might suffer a serious illness or accident and takes a medical leave before the semester is completed. Room and Board are not covered.

To waive coverage, visit the tuition insurance wavier website. Waiver submission dates will be posted soon. Waivers submitted after this date are not accepted. The premium credit will post 2-3 business days after the waiver is approved. For students who wish to keep the coverage, no action is required.

If you waive coverage in the Fall 2023 semester and would like to have coverage in Spring 2024, please notify the Office of the Bursar at XUBursar@xavier.edu

Billing Cycle and Payment Plan Options

The Office of the Bursar publishes statements on the 5th business day of the month. For more information about our billing cycle, view the billing calendar. 

Accounts with a past due balance will be assessed a late Fees each month, this charge will be 1% of the past due balance. 

Xavier University is offering a payment plan that evenly distributes a student's account balance over monthly installments. For more information about payment plans, monthly due dates, and enrollment fees, visit our website.

NOTE:

The payment plan allows you to pay in installments; it does not automatically draft money from an account or credit card. 

*ABSN students are not eligible to enroll in payment plans
